In this Act,
unless the context otherwise requires,—
contract includes
a licence
designated party means any of the following:
(b) the Director-General of Social Welfare,
in his or her capacity as a person with functions under, or connected
with the administration of,—
designated successor means,—
designated unit means any of the following units of the Department of Social Welfare:
specified right of appeal means any of the following:
specified right of review means a right of review under section 21 of the Disabled Persons Community
Welfare Act 1975
transferred employee means any employee of the Department of Social Welfare who transfers
(in circumstances to which section 61A of the State Sector Act 1988 applies) to the responsible department.
