These regulations are administered in the Department of Justice.
PURSUANT to the Designs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following regulations.
Title, commencement, and arrangement
Fees payable according to Schedule 1
Payments from beyond New Zealand
Forms prescribed in Schedule 2
Signature of documents by firms and bodies corporate
Personal signature may be required
Appropriate application forms to be used
Separate applications for same design for more than one article
Name of article and novel features of design to be stated
Representation of design to be furnished
Name or portrait of living person
Designs registered under section 8
Particulars required of person claiming
Administration dispensed with in certain cases
Further certificate of registration
Designs not open to public inspection
Evidence in support of application
Preparation of declarations, etc.
Recognition of signatures on documents
Service of copy of application on Commissioner
Action consequent upon Court order
Designs excluded from the application of the Copyright Act 1913
