Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act Commencement Order 1998

This order is administered in the Ministry of Justice

PURSUANT to section 1 of the Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act 1998, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting—

(b) On the recommendation of the Prime Minister given after receiving written advice from Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu that the Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act 1998 is acceptable to Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu,—

makes the following order.

This order may be cited as the Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act Commencement Order 1998.

The Ngai Tahu Claims Settlement Act 1998 comes into force on the day on which this order is made.
