This order is administered in the Ministry of Transport.


Pursuant to section 199C of the Transport Act 1962, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, makes the following order.

Order

1 Title and commencement
  • (1) This order may be cited as the Transport (Offences) Order 1999

    (2) This order comes into force on 3 May 1999.

2 Amendment to Schedule 2
  • Part 10 of Schedule 2 of the Transport Act 1962 is amended by omitting the item relating to the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order, which comes into force on 3 May 1999, omits a reference in Schedule 2 of the Transport Act 1962 to offences against the Transport (Drivers Licensing) Regulations 1987. Those regulations are to be revoked by regulations coming into force on that date.
