Pursuant to section 218 of the Land Transport Act 1998, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, makes the following regulations.

Regulations

1 Title

  • These regulations are the Traffic Amendment Regulations 2010.

2 Commencement

  • These regulations come into force on 1 April 2010.

Explanatory note

This note is not part of the regulations, but is intended to indicate their general effect.

These regulations, which come into force on 1 April 2010, revoke regulations 70, 88, 89, and 90 of the Traffic Regulations 1976. Regulation 70 is revoked to accommodate amendments made to Land Transport Rule: Steering Systems 2001. Regulations 88, 89, and 90 are revoked as they are no longer required.
