In clause 46(2), after “a reserve or conservation area” (line 23 on page 42), insert “to which an official geographic name has been assigned”.

Replace clause 46(4) (line 34 on page 42 to line 4 on page 43) with:
(4) The Minister must not change the name of a reserve site under section 16(10) of the Reserves Act 1977 without the written consent of the administering body of the site, and section 16(10A) of that Act does not apply to the proposed change.(5) In this section, Board, Crown protected area, Gazetteer, and official geographic name have the same meanings as in section 4 of the New Zealand Geographic Board (Ngā Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa) Act 2008.
